Appointments

All contacts are by telephone initially. Please phone the surgery and your name will be added to the list for the GP to call back

If you have access to a smartphone or computer a video consultation can be arranged, please ask when you phone. 

Please make sure you will be available at the number you give for the GP to call you back. If necessary the GP will arrange for you to come to the surgery to be seen.

Home Visits

Those who are housebound can be visited at home by the GP. Please phone as early as possible to request a home visit and be aware that the GP will probably wish to call you back to discuss the details.

Anyone who normally is able to get out and about should attend the surgery if at all possible. Children should always be brought to the surgery for full assessment. 

Home visits on Lismore will be planned to fit in with the appointment system, with an early visit on Thursdays being an option if required. 

Please remember that several patients can be seen in the practice in the time that it takes to make one home visit. There are also better facilities for examining and treating patients at the Health Centre.

Telephone  consultations

Often issues can be dealt with just as well over the phone as by attending in person and this saves travelling to the surgery. Typical problems that can be dealt with by phone are follow up from a recent consultation, inquiries about medication or discussion of a recent hospital appointment or admission. 

Telephone consultations can be booked and the GP will call you as close to the allocated time as possible. Please make sure that you leave the correct number to reach you on.
